Day 4

Hello!

Today we continued painting the Annan bunkhouse (the second coating in the bathroom and toilet and painting the rest of the bedroom). However, there was one little problem: we had run out of yellow paint and we had yet to do a second coating. We told Pam and she immediately called the shop to see if they were open. They weren’t, but they would leave some paint and brushes at the back door. We soon got our new paint and continued painting (even though we were kind of really done with the colour yellow). Also, there were A LOT of spiders in the room which we were not all that happy about. Mostly I just had Marjolein or Elise paint those bits. I think we finished about 16h (even though I’m not sure that is correct as we have absolutely no sense of time) and everyone was amazed at how fast we were, but it really wasn’t that much work. Pam told us that we could have the Sunday off and she would take us on a tour, which is great! We made dinner (a real dinner – not just pasta: potatoes, vegetables and chicken) and after that we – surprise – played some games before going to bed.

I am really excited about getting to see the surrounding area. It is immensely underrated but it is so beautiful! I will tell you more about that tomorrow.
